The Rosa Side Table was commissioned by a Sydney client for her newly built Mooney Mooney house. Our client wanted an understated piece with a Scandinavian feel in a light coloured timber. We used calm rock maple and incorporated our Eyeline handles to create a side table that looked soft and inviting. Rock maple is a beautiful timber but it requires great control. This bone coloured timber will show up even the slightest error on the part of the craftsman. Selecting and composing for grain is a critical part of composing a design in rock maple.
