Description SIP Pad 2,400 – Nidek/Essilor/Briot/Weco/Huvitz The Surface Improvement Pad (SIP Pad) is a surface enhancement pad to gain extra adhesion for the Blue Cut or Budget pads. Should you have a particularly challenging lens to cut, simply stick the SIP Pad to the lens you are about to edge and use in conjunction with the Blue Cut pads in the normal way. This will give you the extra adhesion that you may need for your challenging lenses. By using this SIP Pad in conjunction with a Blue Cut or Budget pad you should be able to cover almost all your edging lenses. Application and instructions. Check surface is clean, dust and oil free and there is no previous residue before application. We recommend using in temperatures between 20 and 40°C (68F / 104F). Do not use at temperatures below 15°C (59F) as it could affect fluidity and compromise adhesion. Keep in the original package and temperatures below 86F / 30C.
